The basic components of the EGK 10 correspond to the EGK 4 series, however features a higher cooling capacity and large flow rates, optimised specifically for bypass applications. It uses a special size high-efficiency heat exchanger.

This heat exchanger is available with glass lining for critical applications. EGK series compressor sample gas coolers feature a construction design which ensures they maintain an extremely stable gas outlet dew point.

At the core of this cooler is a cooling block which, along with the sophisticated Bühler constant control system, ensures even heat dissipation. The electronic control features an LED display and a relay output for the cooling status which indicates when the defined operating range has been reached. A stainless steel heat exchanger plugs into the cooling block. The cooling system is maintenance-free. Adjustable feet, handles, and brackets are sold separately.
